At just 13 years old, Mostafa wrote his first program — sparking a lifelong passion for technology and problem-solving. What began as childhood curiosity quickly became a serious pursuit, as he taught himself programming fundamentals years before it became mainstream in Egypt's schools.

Won the Best Application Award at the Cairo Governorate Schools Championship — a prestigious recognition that confirmed, at just 16, that his passion for building software was matched by real talent. The first of many milestones that would define a career built on craft and excellence.
Joining Computer Science College
Enrolled in the Faculty of Computer Science — formalising the deep technical foundation that would later underpin everything from enterprise CRM architecture to bespoke SaaS platforms. Graduated in 2005 with both a degree and a conviction: that technology only creates value when it solves real business problems.
Building the Operational Foundation
Rose through four successive roles at one of Egypt's largest telecoms — from Customer Service Representative to Workforce Management Specialist, Transport Analyst, and finally OSS Administration Specialist. Mastered the disciplines of operations management, systems administration, network infrastructure, and data-driven decision-making at enterprise scale.
First Steps into Technology Consulting
While still at Mobinil, began advising clients as a Technology Consultant — evaluating financial applications, CRM systems, and HR management platforms. This role crystallised the conviction that technology, properly implemented, transforms businesses from the inside out.
First Venture — Manufacturing & Operations
Co-founded and continues to lead WANAS CNC, a manufacturing company in Egypt. This venture sharpened Mostafa's skills in supply chain management, quality control, financial budgeting, and leading high-performance production teams — giving him a rare "factory floor" perspective that informs how he designs operational systems for clients today.
Craftsmanship & Client-First Culture
Founded and managed a specialist woodworking business — from client brief to delivery. Honed project management, craftsman recruitment, and an obsession with quality that remains a hallmark of everything Wanas Apps delivers.
Mastering Brand & Market Strategy
Co-founded an advertising agency in the UAE, working directly with clients on brand strategy, digital marketing campaigns, and creative direction. This chapter deepened expertise in market research, consumer behaviour, and the storytelling that drives business growth — skills now embedded in Wanas Apps' go-to-market approach.
Joining the Zoho Ecosystem
Became an official Zoho Partner — the beginning of a deep, multi-year commitment to mastering the entire Zoho suite. This partnership marked the pivotal shift from broad technology consulting to becoming a dedicated Zoho specialist for the MENA market.
The Vision Becomes Reality
Founded Wanas Apps in January 2020 under its Egyptian entity — channelling 15+ years of cross-industry experience into a singular mission. After building the foundations and securing the Zoho partnership, the UAE entity Wanas Apps FZ-LLC was officially incorporated and announced in June 2021, marking its formal dual-country entry as the MENA region's dedicated Zoho partner.

Recognised by Zoho globally as a Zoho Skill Champion — one of only a handful across the MENA region. The designation reflects Mostafa's contributions through training programs, thought leadership, and his commitment to elevating Zoho expertise across the entire regional partner ecosystem.

Wanas Apps became a Zoho Advanced Partner — and made history as the first Advanced Partner in Egypt. A landmark achievement that placed Wanas Apps among the elite tier of Zoho partners in the MENA region, unlocking deeper collaboration with Zoho and expanded capabilities for enterprise clients.
Expanding into the UAE
Established the UAE headquarters at the Compass Building in Ras al-Khaimah — creating a permanent operational base in the Gulf to better serve Wanas Apps' growing roster of UAE enterprise clients and strengthen the company's regional footprint.

Wanas Apps achieved Zoho Premium Partner status — the highest certification tier in the Zoho partner programme.
